Our mission is to ensure our members enjoy a consistently excellent racquet sports experience. We offer an extensive range of tennis programs, a highly qualified team of certified tennis professionals, the best LED lighting in town, and six premier temperature-controlled hard court tennis courts. Our Club builds true leaders.
Established in 2009, Match Point Tennis Club is the first indoor tennis club in the Rockland County, NY/Bergen County, NJ area to be built in decades. The club has the most updated amenities to offer, including six hard-court tennis courts with maximum cushioning, a spacious lobby with excellent viewing area, and locker rooms with keypad lockers and showers. Located in Orangeburg, New York, Match Point Tennis Club is local for Rockland and Bergen County residents and only a 25-minute drive from New York City.

Meet The Team
Nausher Madan
Director / Coach
Nausher Madan has been a constant in the Bergen County, NJ and Rockland County, NY area for 37 years. His knowledge of the game and innovative teaching methods along with his familiarity of the local tennis scene cannot be matched. Nausher played tennis throughout his native India to become their Junior National Champion. He attended the University of Maryland on a full tennis scholarship. During his professional career, Nausher was a member of the Indian Davis Cup team and gained international tennis experience playing throughout Europe and Asia. He is happy to share experience at Match Point Tennis Club to all tennis players from beginner to tournament level.
Arturo Richiez
Co-Director / Coach
Arturo Richiez began teaching with Nausher Madan thirty years ago and they have been a team ever since. Everyone feeds off Arturo’s energetic approach to the game. He has developed many junior tennis players from beginner to tournament level and level-1 college in the Bergen County, NJ and Rockland County, NY area. Arturo was the #1 ranked Junior Player in the Dominican Republic before attending the Universidad Central del Este. He played on the international tennis circuit for several years before coming to the United States. He became a certified USPTA tennis professional in 1997. Arturo enjoys sharing his experience with all who take lessons from him and continues to push players to reach their full potential.
Darius Madan
Coach
Darius Madan was one of the top juniors in India. He grew up playing with Leander Paes and Zeeshan Ali, and competed in many tournaments with them. Darius has been residing in the United States for the latter part of his life. He has been teaching in the Bergen County, NJ and Rockland County, NY area for 32 years and coaches students of all ages and levels. He has worked with some of the top juniors in the United States. Darius has a passion for teaching and for developing beginners into tournament players. His patience and dedication combined with his teaching methods is unmatched.

Frequently Asked Questions
What facilities do you have?
We have six indoor U. S. Open-style tennis courts with maximum cushioning, a spacious lobby with full court viewing area, and men's and women's locker rooms with keypad lockers and showers. In addition, we have a fully-stocked pro shop and a party/Pilates room.
What activities and facilities are available for junior players?
We have a Junior Development Program available for juniors of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. In addition, we have a Little Stars program for the little ones starting at age three. These classes are designed to introduce your child to tennis and teach them the basics while having fun!
I’ve not played tennis before, how can I get started?
Give us a call or send us an email to learn about different programs and lesson options available. We will propose a program or lesson plan tailored to you based on your age and level of play.
Can I borrow equipment?
Yes. You may borrow a racquet for a $5 demo charge. If and when you decide to buy a racquet through us, we will credit any demonstrations paid for towards your purchase.
We also sell tennis shoes and accessories in our fully-stocked pro shop.
Do I have to be a member to take a lesson or rent a court?
No, we do not have any membership fees! Just call to check availability and to schedule a lesson or open time.
Can I play competitive tennis?
We offer a variety of singles and doubles leagues for men and women based on level. In addition, we offer supervised Match Play on Sunday evenings for junior players to put their skills to the test against fellow students.
